AlchePharma Poly-4X Utilizes Oligonol
OLIGONOL IS DERIVED FROM LYCHEE FRUIT (85%) AND GREEN TEA (15%)
Lychee is known to have many medicinal values. It is packed with vitamins A, C and Potassium. Due to its high potassium content, lychee can help support a healthy nervous system, promoting regular heart rhythm, proper muscle contraction and control over the body’s water balance. It can also decrease the chance of a stroke.
The fruit contains an abundant amount of polyphenols, a beneficial plant compound that is known for its antioxidant and anti-aging properties. High levels of polyphenols make fruits “super” fruits,” like mangosteen, pomegranate and açai. Through studies by pharmaceutical and nutraceutical manufacturers, we have begun to discover even more health and beauty benefits from the lychee fruit.
Clinical studies proved staggering effects, all stemming from one important factor:
Researchers believe that compounds found in Poly-4X's Oligonol can increase blood flow.
Poly-4X's Oligonol gently and effectively relaxes blood vessels, thereby increasing blood flow throughout the body. This could potentially generate impressive results, from reducing cardiovascular risks, diminishing tiredness and fatigue, to increasing skin beautification, anti-aging properties, and improving metabolic syndrome.
Perhaps the most impressive human clinical trial on Poly-4X's Oligonol to date studied its effect on visceral fat. When participants took 100 mg/day for 10 weeks, their visceral fat went down by over 12% while there was no change in the placebo group. Since abdominal obesity is one of the hallmarks of metabolic syndrome, and metabolic syndrome increases your risk of coronary heart disease, Poly-4X's Oligonol could have indirect cardiovascular benefits in addition to its direct ones.
Exactly how Poly-4X's Oligonol reduces visceral fat isn’t perfectly clear, but this study and previous research studies offer a clue. It appears that Poly-4X's Oligonol may regulate the production of special hormones that are produced in the fat tissue. By increasing the production of hormones that facilitate fat metabolism (called “adiponecines”) and by blocking hormones that cause inflammation (called “TNF-Alpha”), Poly-4X's Oligonol has the potential to reduce the risk of metabolic syndrome.
Because Poly-4X's Oligonol stimulates blood flow, it is believed to increase anti-aging properties and improve skin conditions. After several tests, the supplement is said to have decreased facial breakouts, acne and even reduce the appearance of wrinkles and freckles on female test subjects. Over a period of time, women who consumed Poly-4X's Oligonol claimed that they noticed better elasticity in their skin, making their appearance more vibrant, healthy and youthful.
Poly-4X's Oligonol also has potential in sports recovery as it has been shown to reduce fatigue after exercise, increase endurance and reduce levels of pro-inflammatory markers such as C-Reactive protein.
The reason why trained athletes don’t get tired when they exercise is, again, due to improved blood flow. When more blood is flowing to the muscles, two things happen. First, more oxygen is being delivered to them. Second, more waste is being removed from them. This combination prevents fatigue. Poly-4X's Oligonol’s ability to aid recovery from fatigue was tested in male and female athletes. Half of the participants took Oligonol; half took regular lychee extract. At the end of the 52-day trial, not only did the Oligonol group report feeling improvements in recovery from fatigue, mental clarity, quality of sleep, eye fatigue and stiff shoulder compared with the regular lychee group, they also had lower urine levels of 8-OHdG, a marker for physical and mental fatigue.
When it comes to protecting yourself from the sun, it may be what’s on the inside that counts. Research now shows that taking Poly-4X's Oligonol could limit the sun’s damaging UVB rays. When UVB rays hit your skin, two things happen: The skin becomes inflamed—red, swollen, painful and hot—and free radicals are produced. Together, these two reactions cause damage to the skin cells, which can hasten skin aging and trigger the development of skin cancer. A new study published in the Journal of Functional Foods found Poly-4X's Oligonol prevents UVB damage to the skin by suppressing inflammation and revving up the body’s natural antioxidant defenses. Oligonol provided protection from both sun-induced skin aging and skin cancer.
Uric Acid levels: In a study of six healthy male volunteers, Oligonol significantly decreased Uric Acid excretion and clearance while reducing the concentration of uric acid in the blood. These results suggest that Poly-4X's Oligonol may be able to help individuals at risk of Gout to maintain normal Uric Acid levels.
Poly-4X's Oligonol is made from Lychee Fruit and Green Tea, both of which have a long history of human consumption. Poly-4X's Oligonol has been accepted by the FDA as an NDI and is GRAS (Self-affirmed) and Kosher-Certified. Multiple studies on humans and animals have confirmed its safety.*
